You may sometimes see abbreviations or brand names for vaccines or combinations of vaccines on our records; here are some of the common ones:
- Pentacel – Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, and Haemophilus influenzae B vaccine
- Prevnar – Pneumococcal vaccine (pneumonia, meningitis, ear infections)
- Rotateq – Rotavirus vaccine
- Menactra – Meningitis
- Trumenba or Bexsero – Meningitis B
- Gardasil – HPV vaccine
- Flu vaccine given yearly starting late summer for ages 6 months and older
- TB test frequency based on screening questions and school or volunteering requirements
