You may sometimes see abbreviations or brand names for vaccines or combinations of vaccines on our records; here are some of the common ones:
- Pentacel – Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, and Haemophilus influenzae B vaccine
- Prevnar – Pneumococcal vaccine (pneumonia, meningitis, ear infections)
- Rotateq – Oral Rotavirus vaccine
- Varivax – Varicella (Chicken Pox)
- Proquad – MMR and Varivax
- Kinrix – DTaP and IPV (Polio)
- Gardasil – HPV vaccine
- Flu vaccine given yearly starting late summer for ages 6 months and older
- TB test administration and frequency based on screening questions and school or volunteering requirements
