Ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) Dosing Chart

You can give a dose every 6 hours. Not for children under 6 months old!

DOSE YOUR CHILD BASED ON WEIGHT

Make sure to only use the dropper or cup that came with the medication. DO NOT USE HOUSEHOLD TEASPOONS WHICH CAN VARY IN SIZE.

(Motrin and Advil are also known as ibuprofen – to know for sure, look for ibuprofen in the active ingredients on the label)

5 ML = 1 Teaspoon

* Please note that doses are recommended by weight and age for normal healthy children, if your child has a chronic condition, especially disease of the liver or kidneys, or bleeding of the stomach or intestines, or you are in doubt, please contact your physician.
